Captain of the Ship
The role reports to the senior vice president of real estate operations and should be located in a major U.S. market, preferably in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin or the DC Metro Area. Candidates for this role should expect to travel 30-35% of the time to work with other Redfin executives and visit customers and agents in the field. In partnership with senior leadership, you’ll be responsible for market share growth in our Premier segment with a deeper focus on our top 12-15 markets. You will lead a small team to start with the opportunity to grow your team as Premier grows.

Influential: You have experience collaborating across organizations, levels and geography resulting in strong business results. You are also someone that thrives in front of audiences, can captivate candidates and enjoy public relations.

Crisp Communicator: Redfin prizes clear, plain-spoken communication in every forum. The best answers start with, “yes,” “no,” a number, or “I don’t know.” We avoid jargon and cliches and it’s important that you can communicate effectively in-person, in slides, and in writing. Clear communication is a product of clear thought.

The compensation information is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in Hawaii, Colorado, New York, New Jersey, Washington, and California.
Base Pay Range: $151,800.00 - 227,200.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation will also include bonuses and equity, as well as the potential for future merit increases and stock grants based on performance.
