Things you'll do in your first year:

- Lead at least two projects from concept to implementation related to educational content and peer learning using AI for programmatic goals at social impact organizations
- Collect, clean, and analyze data to derive valuable insights for the Data Practice team to ideate on program enhancements
- Facilitate and organize Peer Learning events with our grant partners
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of ideas, processes, and communications to keep the team organized and stay on top of project timelines and deliverables
- Conduct market research and ecosystem analysis of the knowledge necessary for AI adoption in the social sector
- Coordinate, take notes, and project manage action items for meetings with internal stakeholders and our partners
- Draft external presentation materials (slide decks, documents, external communications, graphics)
- Participate in identifying challenges and finding solutions to technical issues related to data and AI projects
- Support the creation of knowledge products and maintain a knowledge repository, including performing research on particular topics that will advance PJMF’s work
- Gain exposure to other areas of PJMF and the philanthropic field through the RL4E Program
- Learning and development in numerous technical areas and skill sets, to quickly apply them to current needs
What you need to be successful:

- Study in areas of computer science, data science, or engineering major; or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Amazon Web Services, machine learning, and large language models
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau or Excel
- Ability to transition between independent, project-based, and team-based work with ease from a digital location outside of an office.
- Ability to effectively communicate about technical concepts, including data science, analytics, and others related to technologies.
- Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills.
- Capability to analyze and distill observations, ideas, and feedback into team notes, memos, and visual presentations.
- Proficiency in G-Suite applications, including Google Slides.
- Interest in the use of Data for Good and/or social impact.
- Genuine enthusiasm for building a human-centered, tech-enabled future where everyone thrives.

- Compensation - We anticipate the starting salary range for this role to be $60,000, with flexibility based on graduate-level applicants.
