Our dedicated Caregivers provide the best elder care in our amazing community of Desert View Senior Living. Our team makes a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community. A Caregiver provides assistive care encompassing all adult daily living skills, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), recreational, and socialization. Some of the tasks:
- Assist residents with ADL's, bathing, dressing/undressing, grooming, personal hygiene, incontinence care, etc.
- Take vital signs as assigned.
- Maintain controls of and administers prescribed medications and treatments for residents
- Promote self-help and independence of residents by encouraging the maintenance or attainment of the highest physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
- Perform first aid and initiate emergency response procedures as required.
What you need to bring
- Must possess, at a minimum, a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have current CPR/First Aid certifications
- If required by your state of residence, completion of state approved Caregiver program
- Must have certification of state approved Medication Aide program for the Med Tech position
