POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position):
We are on a mission to provide an unparalleled consumer experience across our branded ASICS properties, marketplaces, and external marketing. Reporting directly into the Senior Graphic Designer & Content Manager, the Copywriter is a key storyteller on the ASICS Direct to Consumer team, playing a vital role in successfully integrating the ASICS brand tone of voice across all direct-to-consumer touch points. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, hitting deadlines to meet business objectives, working cross functionally with internal key stakeholders across design, merchandising, marketing and operations and maintaining well-organized files with a high level of accuracy.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- This position will work collaboratively with all levels within the organization
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write and enhance the copy across all DTC creative touchpoints (Email, site, marketplaces, the ASICS Blog, stores) for cohesive & consistent brand messaging/storytelling.
- Understand, interpret, and translate creative briefs and adapt to feedback.
- Create and develop a brand-new copywriting process for site, email, marketplaces & in-store signage that ties into our current process and briefing strategies.
- Proofread, edit, optimize, and align creative messaging for a unified experience.
- Assist in reviewing and writing SEO content for the site for high visibility category pages, new launches and seasonal stories.
- Prioritize multiple tasks/business objectives to maintain key milestones, working independently at times and collaborating on key initiatives with the cross-functional teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve the copy production process by staying up to date on industry trends and creating collaborative internal partnerships to help in identifying iterative improvements.
- Build and maintain copy database
- Provide guidance across the company regarding copywriting process and DTC needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with proven success in a similar role.
- Previous experience with email, website & social media copywriting required.
- Familiarity with eCommerce and retail. DTC experience a plus.
- Experience in writing and developing copy across multiple channels while adapting skills to meet business, brand and consumer needs.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices is desirable
- Strong and creative verbal and written communication skills and approaches.
- Self-motivated and outstanding organizational skills: including the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to problem-solve, make effective judgments, and think critically to make the best decision.
- Microsoft office and Mac platform proficiency (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
