Drive five major workstreams—enablement strategy, sales tools and methodology, training processes and systems, and impact metrics and operational excellence for the team
Develop and manage commercial operations programs, processes, and communications to maximize the sales teams’ effectiveness and sales results
Business owner of the company’s sales enablement technology platform, vendor, and budget, responsible for setting strategy, execution, adoption, and alignment with industry standards and best practices
Direct and lead sales enablement strategy, platform design, and activation plan to ensure the entire sales team and channel partners are equipped with the information, insights, and tools needed to drive revenue
Identify operational and strategic risks to client development and retention; participate in the development and lead teams through the execution of plans and strategies to mitigate identified risks
Evaluate workflow processes, recommend and implement procedural and systems changes to deliver quality/legendary service to the department’s customers and partners. Coordinate with other departments to facilitate special requests, resolve workflow or production issues
Responsible for all development, coordination, tracking, analytics, and payouts for all marketing efforts including promotions and events
Responsible for developing and achieving cost center budget targets; manage budget and purchasing for all events, promotional items, and rewards programs
Responsible for management and achievement of buying group discount/payout, custom promotion programs, events, and sales analytics to improve sales revenues and monitor budgets
Manage overall collateral and sales material distribution process, developing and implementing best practices. Forecast and analyze usage of sales materials
Maintain effective partnership with the sales management team to ensure strategic initiatives are developed and executed
Prioritize, assign, and distribute work to ensure responsibility is at the appropriate level and team member skills are developed to support the business needs.
Coach and manage staff to ensure skills and knowledge is continually developed to meet future marketing and business needs; provide oversight of department activities such as planning, hiring, performance reviews, and budgeting
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 3 additional years of experience related to functional area
Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports
Proven project management skills with high-impact, large-scale projects; demonstrated experience in driving organizational change
Demonstrated ability to work within a global organization, contributing to cross-functional plans and building stakeholder relationships
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Proven analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties
