Job Description:
Seattle Search Group, the leader in staffing and recruiting for accounting and finance, has teamed up with an established CPA firm with a few locations in North WA and looking for Tax Sr. and Tax Managers.
Applicant will need to have a strong accounting and tax background, BA degree in Finance/Accounting and good communications skills as they will have extensive contact with clients daily. Our client offers competitive salaries along with a 401K, medical, HSA, life insurance, paid vacation, and holidays.
Major duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Income tax preparation of federal 1040, 1120s, 1065 and 1041.
Adjusting client’s general ledgers for y/e preparation of tax returns.
Assisting clients with various accounting issues and payroll preparation and setup.
Preparation of financial statements.
Preparation of Y/E W2's and 1099's
State and City business and occupations tax returns.
Proficient with QuickBooks desktop and online services.
Works well independently and with a team.
Detail oriented, organized and highly productive.
Traveling to client offices to assist clients with various accounting issues.
Strong computer skills including proficient knowledge of Excel.
