Job Description: Seattle Search Group, the leader in staffing and recruiting, has teamed up with a local accounting and tax firm to find a Staff/tax Accountant to join their team in their Bellevue location. They have an enjoyable work environment, fun staff, and great clients to interact and work with.
What you’d be doing:
- Prepare corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
- Experience with trust, estate, and not-for-profit returns is a plus
- Prepare tax projections and calculate estimated tax payments
- Prepare sales tax returns
- Organize and update the firm’s practice management software with relevant tax information and documents
- Recommend tax strategies that align with clients' business goals
- Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
- Communicate directly with clients
- Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
- Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent required
- 3+ years of experience working in public accounting, tax, or CPA firm required
- Experience preparing multi-state tax returns
- ProSeries, QB Online, QB desktop experience is a plus
- Computer & technology proficiency is a must
- Excellent time management skills
- Keen attention to detail
- High-Net-Worth industry experience (preferred but not required): E-Commerce, hospitality, construction, professional services, small business (general).
