Job Description: The Sr. Recruiting Consultant contributes to the success by sourcing, evaluating, and hiring top talent for key positions. This individual consultatively partners with clients as a recruiting Subject Matter Expert, advising them on the competitive talent landscape and developing sourcing and evaluation strategies that efficiently deliver top caliber talent. The Sr. Recruiting Consultant will coach and advise clients on effective talent evaluation, engagement, and negotiation strategies. They will also bring a wealth of sourcing and talent engagement knowledge to the Recruiting team, serving as a resource for other team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Competencies and Information Protection requirements.
  • Develop and execute proactive recruitment strategies to attract top candidates for both current and anticipated staffing needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand the skills and background required for positions, and provide expert advice and coaching to hiring managers throughout the sourcing, selection, and hiring process.
  • Work in cooperation with management to anticipate future business needs and develop strategic sourcing pipelines ahead of planned headcount requests.
  • Provide full life-cycle recruiting efforts, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and extending offers.
  • Generate an extensive and diverse pipeline of qualified candidates, using multiple sourcing strategies to identify not only active, but also passive candidates.
  • Utilize social media and networking to proactively identify, attract, and engage with prospective talent.
  • Educate and train management on recruiting process and hiring manager responsibilities/best practices.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for other team members in areas of client account management, strategic sourcing techniques, candidate engagement, offer negotiation, and other recruitment best practices.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to employment.
  • Participate in management of the internship program, including establishing and maintaining relationships with local colleges to collaborate on internship programs.
  • Serve as a member of employment related project teams.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of Credit Union loan policy and state and federal consumer lending/deposit regulations, as well as a working knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
  • Maintain effective communication with all Credit Union employees to ensure coordination and exchange of information for accomplishing Credit Union goals.
  • For the purpose of attaining Credit Union goals, it is the responsibility of each employee to strive for the continuous improvement of processes and quality of service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Office), with the ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate in the English language.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgment in problem solving.
  • Ability to present a professional image to management, staff and outside contacts.
  • Effective leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.
  • Travel to locations required. Valid Washington state Driver’s license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or Human Resources, or equivalent work or educational experience.
  • Minimum four to six years of experience in a full-cycle recruiting position.
  • Experience hiring for all levels within an organization with an emphasis on senior-level positions. Experience recruiting for financial services or sales preferred.
  • Experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Experience leading project teams.
