Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The purpose of this position is to ensure the operational readiness and support the academic Nursing Skills Practice Center, prepare practice equipment for student use, assist faculty with lab curriculum development, order chemicals and nursing supplies, maintain inventory, deliver safety training, ensure proper chemical and equipment storage, maintain and operate scientific equipment and instrumentation, and data management of all academic center needs. This is not a faculty position. |

Level Scope: |
Fully competent and productive professional contributor who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees. Typically hold a Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience. |

85% of the time the Nursing Skills Practice Center Assistant must: This position is responsible for academic skills center logistics, data management, safety, and support in order to ensure operational readiness for academic Nursing Skills Practice Centers.
