Club Monaco is seeking a seasoned and innovative Director of IT at its headquarters in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a robust IT background, with various global technology projects including ERP implementations/support, retail support and infrastructure support under their belt. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience leading and managing internal teams, vendors, and offshore resources. Resilience, strong leadership, the ability to balance shifting priorities, and rolling up your sleeves to accomplish the tasks at hand will be the key factors to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and build a team of resources (internal and external) to support Club Monaco’s IT footprint
- Oversee core applications and infrastructure within the IT department for Club Monaco
- Build strong, productive relationships with leaders from the different departments as well as the private equity group to understand business requirements and have ability translate into technical requirements for IT resources/projects teams
- Align/recommend IT strategic plans for Club Monaco that fit within core IT framework to help improve top/bottom line growth initiatives
- Assess the current core technologies and determine the future path to continue support and growth of existing (or potentially new) systems
- Lead Club Monaco specific IT implementations/rollouts while being hands on in all stages: from discovery & planning, to design and deployment
- Continually maintain/manage any/all core applications and infrastructure technology improvements to ensure Club Monaco can support new releases and necessary upgrades to existing platforms
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in demonstration of strong technical skills, including hands-on experience as managing IT for a high growth company
- Experience with major global IT implementations in various industries, including but not limited to retail, wholesale, and e-commerce
- Experience with various cloud architectures and deployment strategies such as SaaS, IaaS and PaaS
- Experience with ERP systems and implementations, preferably Microsoft Dynamics F&O
- Excellent management skills with 3rd party and offshore vendors
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Strong follow-through on all projects; ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Previous experience in acquisitions, corporate carve-outs, and restructurings preferred
