What you’ll do:
As a technical business systems analyst, you’ll identify, design, and manage the implementation of cloud-based solutions to problems that impact the business. You’ll need a strong technical background in working with enterprise software solutions that range from strict SaaS to fully-custom, cloud-hosted solutions. Some examples of your essential duties follow:
- Identify and design solutions to drive improvements to business processes, including enterprise system management, identity access management, and operational support.
- Define requirements and implement automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues.
- Evaluate new software products that may benefit the organization, performing POCs, gathering requirements for new functionality, and reporting on pros/cons.
- Understand, promote and support cloud computing patterns and initiatives across the engineering organization.
- Perform cost/benefit analysis on existing systems and make recommendations for improvement.
What you’ll need to Succeed:
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with SDLC, Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies
- Experience with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with big data, data warehousing and data analytics
