- You want to be part of a team that is rocking and getting a lot kudos for great work and results
- Assisting the Training & Education Manager with events planning - catering, logistics, communications, etc.
- Pretty much everything that you think about when it comes to planning an event! And since we are doing it without a professional coordinator today, you'll be able to build out this function the way you know it should be run!
- Invites, confirmations, communication that ensures everyone knows what is happening and where to be, event set up and clean up, and all those things that create a great experience for the participants.
- Tallying, tracking and reporting on event results, both participant feedback and sales following the event.
- Ensuring presenters and their presentations are ready to go on as as planned.
- Developing and updating checklists and timelines that ensure every event goes off without a snag.
- 2+ years of full-time experience as an events or training assistant where you were responsible for managing several events at one time.
- Experience negotiating with hotels and other venues for meeting space

- An ability to create robust and detailed communications so that no one gets lost or misunderstands logistics
- Ability to travel 20% of the time both by car and plane
- Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) Certification would be a plus, but not necessary
