About the Role:
We are looking for a Director of Information Systems. The person will manage and architect our enterprise system integrations with Salesforce, Netsuite, etc. as well as our own freight platform using Boomi. They will manage EDI integrations with our partners in the logistics industry. These integrations are critical to our product as well as to our business operations. They will also manage our corporate IT functions that are based on third-party SaaS services and play a vital role in driving security and data governance efforts. This position will report to the CTO.
What You'll Do
- Lead enterprise systems (Netsuite, Salesforce, etc.) implementation, support, and
interoperability. - Grow business offering through EDI integrations with our customers and partners in the
industry - Define the architecture for how NEXT freight platform integrates with these systems. And
work with leaders throughout the company to ensure departmental processes and
systems are implemented in a consistent manner and appropriately evolving as we
scale.
- Ensure data visibility and accessibility in NEXT’s enterprise systems, and make that data
accessible to NEXT’s data warehouse. - Lead corporate IT activities; from procurement to new hire experience. Strive to ensure
team members have everything they need to be successful.
What You'll Need to Have
- Prior people management experience and demonstrated strong leadership
- Working knowledge with Boomi
- Prior experience with various enterprise systems
- Prior experience with EDI (preferrer)
- Comfortable with vendor management and negotiation.
- Strong understanding of the intersection between business operations and corporate
systems. Comfortable with working with executives to drive process change through the
company.
