Job Description: Seattle Search Group, the leader in staffing and recruiting, has teamed up with a local tax firm to find an experienced Tax Preparer/CPA for their Kirkland, WA office.
This is a permanent, long‐term position with opportunity for advancement. This candidate will be responsible for individual, partnership, corporate, estate and trust tax return preparation.
Primary duties include
· Preparation of complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations and estates/trusts
· Research
· Review and compilation engagements utilizing GAAP guidelines
· Trial balance preparation
· An experienced candidate may also assist in the tax return review process
· Business startup services
· Consulting clients
Knowledge/skills/abilities
· Ability to accurately complete projects with strict attention to detail
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to handle a high‐volume workload at a high level of efficiency
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
· QuickBooks and payroll return preparation and reporting
Qualifications
· Degree in Accounting
· 6+ years recent public accounting experience a MUST
· WA State CPA required
· Experience in Lacerte and QuickBooks a plus
